Christmas: Jesus is the Reason.

While the world was sleeping
You came to give us hope
While the world was still
You came to fulfill what you wrote.

You came humbly in a quiet tiny stall
Where the farm animals stayed and saw it all.

You came with no announcement
As just a tiny infant babe
You came just as we are
You came with us to save.

You laid there quietly not saying a word
You could have come in glorious thunder that everyone would have heard.

You came just like a feather floating softly on the wind
Your final act on earth freed all of us from sin.

You came into nothing
Giving up your glorious crown
You came from up in heaven
To walk with us among the ground.

You came as a light
Into a world so lost and dark
You came to save our soul and
Also make new our heart.

You came and they named you Jesus
At the fathers request
And today like every other
You shall be our honored guest.

For it's you who came to save us
Giving us the best gift of all
And tonight we sing you Happy Birthday
Just like they did in the stall.

So at his Christmas season
Just like every other day
Remember Jesus is the reason
For all the gifts we get and give away!
